What I Wore Wednesday : My Satchel

Mummy was away working when the best pressie in the world arrived for me. I phoned her and begged and begged and begged her to let me open it. I just wanted to smell it. To stroke it.
My mummy is ace and she understands about things like that so she said YES!
So what I'm wearing today is my beautiful metallic satchel from The Leather Satchel Co.

Please excuse the photo of me, daddy isn't as good a photographer as I am:)

My beautiful satchel has my name embossed on it (so mummy can't steal it), magnetic closures and is the best thing I have ever had in the world ever.
Mummy thank you for not making me wait until Christmas day - I think I might have exploded and THANK YOU to The Leather Satchel Co for making me this awesome bag. I will love it forever. xx

London Fashion Week & Me

I had a pretty exciting day on Saturday. We dropped Sonny off at his friend Jude's and the rest of us went off to London on the train to see two of daddy's friends catwalk shows at london Fashion Week.
I'm pretty lucky because this isn't the first time that i've been to London Fashion Week but it is the first time that I've been photographed and made it onto someone else's blog! Not just any old blog either but one of the best known fashion blogs in the UK. And the lady who writes it is Chinese (so I like it even more). Here's how it happened.

We arrived at Vauxhall Fashion Scout about half an hour early for dad's friends show, so we went upstairs to look at the exhibition. We were looking around and I took this sneaky pic of a lady on the other side of the room because I really liked her bright outfit and big fringe. I thought she looked cool. Mummy has a skirt the same colour as her trousers that I love.

Mummy said, that's Susie Bubble, she has a really fab fashion blog and then all in a matter of minutes she was taking my picture (I was wearing my bright green DM's, my Agyness Deyn T shirt and had stolen borrowed mums bright green Cambridge Satchel) cause she said I looked cool!
I went a bit shy... not a top model moment really, and then one of the PR ladies (me and mum had been playing spot  the PR / Model / Designer / Intern / Blogger since we arrived) appeared to say the show was starting so off we went.
I'm gutted that I was all shy and didn't ask Susie if i could take her pic for my blog - but at least I have this one.
Thank you for featuring me on your blog Susie, I loved your outfit.
My DM's were £14, I spotted them in TK Maxx ages ago and I've been willing my feet to grow into them!
Betty had mums custom made pink fluro satchel from The Leather Satchel Co.

I'm walking for Water Aid

Tomorrow after school we are going nearly 200 miles to the seaside so that we can take part in a walk called #CoastAlong for the charity Water Aid.
Water Aid is a really good charity that helps people in third world countries like Bangladesh (where my mum went) get safe water to drink.
We don't even think about not having clean water and I can't imagine what it would be like to have to walk miles every day just to get a drink.
But on Saturday I will be walking with mummy, Sonny, Betty, the people from Rabbit (have I told you how much I love rabbits?) and lots of other bloggers and their children to raise money for Water Aid.

I would love it if you could spare a couple of pounds to sponsor our team. We are 'Team Bunny' and my Manky Bunny is our team leader!
You can sponsor us through our Just Giving page and you can follow how we are getting on by following the #coastalong hashtag on Twitter and by coming back to see my photos when we get back to our hotel.

It looks like rain.... so i hope that mummy remembers to pack our raincoats (and one for Manky Bunny too!).

More of the SNAKE!

I've been bursting to tell you about the snake but as yesterday's post was for Silent Sunday I couldn't say anything at all!
We've been dying to find a snake since Sonny found one dead on the road just after we moved to this house. We know that there must be loads of them around, because this is the countryside and there are fields everywhere.
On Saturday morning I spotted naughty Rex with something in his mouth. It's usually a poor shrew but I could see that this wasn't a shrew but I couldn't tell what it was. I crept up on him and as I realised what it was I screamed S N A K E! which made Rex drop it and I whipped in as fast as I could before he gobbled it up!
I could tell that it was already dead but wow, how impressed was I?!

Sonny is gutted that I found it - so much for him being the next Bear Grills!

Our Brilliant Day Out at Heathrow

OK, so i didn't take this, mum did, but I had such a great time at the blogger thing that we went to at Heathrow Airport yesterday that I had to post it.

We were VIP's... It said on our security badges and we did some really cool things including riding on the new Heathrow Pod, which was brilliant.

Mummy says I should tag @mum_TheMadHouse @SWhittle and @Zooarcheologis who we spent the day with and I want to say hi to Flea... Hi Flea!

Thank you to the really lovely people from the airport that looked after us and bought us magazines and gave us lunch and drinks and everything.

Moxie Girlz Art-titude 3D review

I've loved Moxie Girlz since mummy brought me one back from her trip to BlogHer in New york last year, so when we asked to review one I was really excited.

This new 3D Moxie is fab, she comes with two washable marker pens so that you can personalise her outfit and a pair of 3D glasses so that you can really see her outfit come to life.
The best thing is that you can wash her clothes clean and start again to create a whole new look.

Moxie Girlz are way cooler than Barbie or Bratz dolls. Their big heads and eyes are quite Blythe like - and we are big, massive Blythe freaks in our house.
The Moxie Girlz Art-titude 3D dolls are only £14.99 from toys shops nationwide including Toys R Us.

Before

After

What do you think? I think mine looks way better?!

Moxie Girlz are also on Facebook. You can like their page here.

I Love Happy Hopperz!

I've been at the Baby Show in Birmingham today with mum, Betty, Annabel Karmel and her mum (granny). We had lots of fun on the giant Tripp Trapp on the Stokke stand and me and Betty were interviewed for Baby Show TV!
Mum thought that she might get away without us buying anything today - but she was wrong because just as we were about to leave I spotted the Happy Hopperz stand!
Everyone knows that I love bunny rabbits, how could I not love the Happy Hopperz bunny he is amazing. So off home I went bunny in hand.
You might think I'd be a bit big too enjoy bouncing around the house on him - but you'd be wrong. It's hard work and good exercise for your legs and so much fun.

He looks a bit crazy in this picture, but that's because I just made him bounce right around the house and he was worn out!
I've named him Bouncy Bunny!

Happy Hopperz are £21.99 from www.happyhopperz.co.uk
There are lots of different animals to choose from, including a panda (that Betty ordered). Stay tuned for some bunny verses panda races very soon!

Brain Pop Rocks

I was really pleased when I was asked to review the Brain Pop app on my iPod Touch. I've never reviewed anything on my own blog before so it was quite exciting.
Brain Pop is a learning tool aimed at children from 5 to 14 years, so I fit quite nicely in their target age range at 9.
I downloaded the app myself from the app store and had it up and running before my mum was even out of bed! It's that easy.
I wasn't really sure what it was in the app so I was really surprised by a pretty cool little movie that taught me all about teeth and how they grow throughout your life.  When the movie ends you get a short quiz about what you've just seen, which is a really good idea because you really pay attention so that you can get all of the answers right.
The movies are introduced by Tim & Moby, who are really smart! And every day you get a new movie about a different subject.
BrainPOP is really fun and a cool way to learn about all kinds of stuff that I wouldn't usually read about.

It's a free app - so you can't really do any better than that and it sure beats wasting your time playing Angry Birds!

I give it a rating of 10/10.

You can download it from the app store or you can visit the brainPOP website for more information. What do you think? Have you tried it already? I would love to know what you think.

The Gallery : Trees

I like trees.
We used to have a sad but beautiful tree in our front garden, mummy loved it. But it was dead as a dodo and a man came to cut it down incase it fell on our house.

And now....

New things grow there.

For week 50 of The Gallery. Now I'm going to see how many of this weeks photos I can get through before tea! Please leave me a comment - it makes me a happy girl:)

The Gallery... Children

This weeks theme is children, which is a great theme if you are a mum but I'm only 9 and I don't have so many pictures of children. Luckily I do take lots of photos of my little sister, FunnyGirl because when she's not being totally annoying she is actually funny.

She doesn't look that cute right now because she keeps loosing her teeth. She's an OK sister.... I suppose!

The Gallery.... Mother Nature

I have so many nature pictures that I found it really difficult to pick one for this weeks Gallery - and I know that you are all expecting an amazing image from my new Cannon 1000D but as we drove to tap last night we saw the most amazing sunset and I only had my iPod Touch with me. I know big fat photographer fail - but it did make me realise that I need to have my camera with me wherever I go.
So sorry...
Next weeks shot will be better....

Did I mention that it's my birthday on Friday? Mummy has been driving me crazy saying she has a surprise for me - so if you know, please shout now!
